Attached hereto please find my Treasurer's report for the past fiscal year (FY) and a financial summary sheet that includes finances from FYs 2024 and 2025, plus a budget for this FY that started on June 1, 2026. Some notes regarding the budget:
A legal allowance of $1,400 is proposed should we need legal support during the FY.
Dennis Bruen gave us a proposal of $6,500 to regrade our road, That work is in progress and payment will be made in August (this FY)
I also included in this FY, an additional road maintenance allowance of $5,000, in anticipation of having to regrade in the Spring of 2027. (We hope as time goes by, road maintenance will be less.)
$1,500 is included for trash/recycling. See my report for an explanation.
We currently have a money market account with Key Bank. I'm not happy with the performance and will soon purchase a 12 month CD at 3.75% interest.
As you can see, we have been operating in the red and our assets are slowly eroding. If we do not need the budgeted legal amount and the road maintenance cost in the Spring and if Dennis holds his plowing cost, we'll be in the black.
