‍TRASH AND RECYCLING

‍***********************************

‍Trash removal at LEHA has been RESUMED

‍LEHA Members: Please read the message sent out by Stephen Smith-Erb, LEHA President on 3/27/2026.

‍***********************************

‍LEHA members use the receptacles on the Common Lot (lot 6) to dispose of trash and recycled materials.  During the winter months the receptacles are moved to the road for easier access.

  • All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash bins.  Trash and recycling must be separated from one another; there can be no trash in the recycling bags.
  • All recycled materials (see EcoMaine guidelines below) must be bagged and placed in the recycle bins.
  • Corrugated cardboard must be flattened and cut to pieces less than 36”, and placed in the corrugated cardboard bins.
  • No bins should be overfilled; each lid must close completely.  If all bins are full, DO NOT leave bagged trash or recycling outside the bins.
  • Bulky waste, including construction materials, furniture, and other large items should not be left on the Common Lot.  Members should take those materials to the Readfield Transfer StationWindshield stickers can be obtained at the Fayette Town Office
  • Please help us out by keeping the Trash & Recycling areas neat.  If you would like to join the Land & Assets committee, contact the LEHA president.
  • Please inform all family members and guests of these guidelines.

‍Thank you!
